WHAT I DO ALL DAY...
When I read this I thought of my life and how some days I never stop but you can't tell I did a thing. Many days I've thought of staying in bed and reading my book but... I know that there will be plenty of time for that one day. Now I get to enjoy being a mom.
A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the backdoor. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What happened here today?' She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what I do all day?''Yes,' was his incredulous reply. She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it.'

BubbleShare: Share photos - Kids Crafts
Here are some pictures I took today on the way to pick the kids up from school. This time of year is my favorite. I love to see the leaves change colors and the animals that are out. I love that I can wear my sweatshirts and hiking boots. I love the cool nights and snuggling under a blanket with my sweetheart. I hope you enjoy the pictures and it makes you want to come and visit. As Richard reminded me this week "Heavenly Father created a beautiful world for us to live in."

I saw this and it was very touching. I thought I would share this with all the other invisible women I know. Grab a tissue and take a few moments for you. It is worth it.

Here is the last cake that my sister, Cheri, made for her daughter's 5th birthday. Seriously, Who would you want to make your birthday cake? I'm so glad you are my sister and have such wonderful talents. I still think I can beat you at soccer though. :)
Sorry everyone has to see this. This post is really for my sister, Cheri. Now, do you see what I mean. Do you want me to make the cake for your birthday. :) I'm sure glad you have a talent to decorate cakes because I sure don't. OK...you can stop laughing now. I Love you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHARD!
Wow, do I have a cool story to share. Everyone sit down first. Ok now you're ready...As I was driving to pick up Zach & Bryce from school yesterday I saw a "brown rock" out of the corner of my eye. Then I noticed it was still there so I looked out the window. It was a BEAR! He was running along the side of my car. I was so happy I had my window up. Sorry I didn't have my camera but just close your eyes and imagine for a minute an adult brown bear running along side of YOUR car. Hope you have a Great day and watch out for those "brown rocks".
