Well, EVERYONE keeps telling me I need to update our blog so...where do I begin. We went camping over labor day weekend and had an amazing time. I was more concerned than most about bears. (There was food being left everywhere) I am happy to report...NO BEARS...that is until we came home. Scott and I have spent the last half hour watching a bear eat berries just out our back door. I am also happy to report that he went away without incident.

I want to share my love of my Savior Jesus Christ and the atonement. As I sit today pondering my life I am very thankful to my Savior for all he has done for me. I'm so very grateful for the gospel in my life and my testimony of eternal life. I'm grateful to have an eternal family and a husband who loves me. I'm grateful for a bishop who loves my family and his family and is such a great example to us all. I hope and pray you will take a quiet moment and watch this video and ponder the relationship you have with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. May you feel the light of Christ in your life today and every day.

WHAT I DO ALL DAY...
When I read this I thought of my life and how some days I never stop but you can't tell I did a thing. Many days I've thought of staying in bed and reading my book but... I know that there will be plenty of time for that one day. Now I get to enjoy being a mom.
A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the backdoor. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What happened here today?' She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what I do all day?''Yes,' was his incredulous reply. She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it.'

BubbleShare: Share photos - Kids Crafts
Here are some pictures I took today on the way to pick the kids up from school. This time of year is my favorite. I love to see the leaves change colors and the animals that are out. I love that I can wear my sweatshirts and hiking boots. I love the cool nights and snuggling under a blanket with my sweetheart. I hope you enjoy the pictures and it makes you want to come and visit. As Richard reminded me this week "Heavenly Father created a beautiful world for us to live in."
